This is a very good quality antique Irish mahogany Regency scroll end couch, circa 1820 – 1830. The frame and turned legs are constructed of solid mahogany terminating in the original brass socket castors. The frame features attractive up-swept arms with a pretty reided fascia and central fan motif. The frame is covered in gold draylon patterned velvet material. The couch features a lift up swab cushion and two bolster cushions. The couch will seat 3 – 4 persons.
