Here is a very good quality and completely original country oak Welsh George III tilt top tripod table, circa 1780 – 1800. The tilt top table has a working hinge and locking mechanism – the top locks into the brass locking mechanism. The top is constructed of oak whereas the base is constructed of fruitwood. The table features a well shaped ring turned pedestal terminating in lovely umbrella shaped legs with the original feet. This table is completely original and has fantastic colour / patination.
The table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room, dining room or hall way. The table would certainly grace any home and is a great investment as it is extremely functional. So don’t miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.
