Here is a good quality antique English George III style oak dresser base sideboard, circa 1870, originating from England. The top of the dresser features a dark rich oak two-plank top. Below, there is a central bank of four working drawers. Flanking this, is a cupboard either side with an additional drawer above. Inside the cupboards the shelves are removable just in case you need to store larger items. The dresser features the original solid brass escutcheons with swan neck handles. The two cupboard doors feature working locks and a key. The dresser stands on its original Georgian style bracket feet. The original backboards are constructed of pine, which is typical for a dresser of this style.
As this item boasts the original polish, it has a good colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and the years of care and cleaning they have received.
