Here is a very good quality pair of French antique cherry wood benches, circa 1830 – 1850. The pair of benches are constructed from solid cherry wood with square edged corners. The benches sit on two sets of legs with stretcher supports. The pair of benches features a superb colour and patination and are solid in joint.

Condition Report:
The benches are in excellent condition and commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The benches stand firm on the round and do not wobble. There is a slight upwards bow on one bench in particular, which actually helps support additional weight on the bench. Free of active woodworm, solid in joint and ready to use.
