Here is a pair of good quality and very pretty pair of antique French Louis revival oak bedside cabinets, circa 1920, designed in the style of the Louis XV1 period, in excellent original condition. They each have moulded tops with an elegant small gallery. Below, there is a single working drawer featuring the original brass turned knobs. The fronts and sides of the cabinets boast a lovely serpentine frieze with a moulded perimeter. The cabinets sit on fine cabriole legs and boast soft carvings to the feet. These bedsides cabinets boast the classic French chateau styling that you see in furniture of this period.
These bedsides feature a rich brown oak colour. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.

Condition Report
These bedside cabinets are in excellent original condition. As they boast the original polish, they have a fantastic colour and patination. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Importantly, the bedsides tops are free of watermarks and ink stains. The drawers run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The sides and back of the bedsides are constructed of solid oak. The brass knobs and hinges are original. The cabinets stand firm on the ground and do not wobble. They are solid in joint and ready to use.
