This is an attractive and good quality pair of antique Georgian style serpentine bedside chests, circa 1950. The classic styling represents the Georgian period. The bedside chests are constructed of mahogany and features serpentine fronts, cross-banded tops, dovetailed and cock-beaded drawer fronts and pretty metal Georgian style handles. The sides of chests are chamfered and reeded. The chests feature a nice flame-mahogany patination to the front. There are four drawers to each bedside. The chests terminate in Georgian style bracket feet.
They have a beautiful deep rich patina, which has been generated by the years of cleaning and care it has received. These truly are very beautiful item with quality construction and are original throughout. It is rare to see one in such good condition. This item would certainly grace any home.
