Here is a lovely antique English early Victorian figured mahogany circular occasional table, circa 1840, in good original condition. The table features a veneered mahogany top, with a figured mahogany veneered frieze, column and base. The table is raised on an octagonal tapered turned column, which is secured at the bottom to a large mouded circular tripod base, terminating on three small scroll toes. The table stands relatively low in height, therefore it would be ideal as a side table near seating. The table is solid in joint and ready to use. This table is completely original (i.e. the top and the base are not a marriage) and has a lovely original mellow colour and patination. It would be ideal as a side, lamp or wine table in any room in the house.

The supporting column and pedestal are good original condition. Importantly, there are no breaks to the stem or legs, which is common with this type of table. The table sits on its original scroll toes.
